Hytale servers can set up automated messages to be played periodically for all users on the server. These messages can be a fantastic way to welcome or thank players and to distribute helpful information, such as Discord links, server news, and more. By using the many commands Hytale offers, server administrators can tailor their server messages to their liking.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Go to the Schedules tab.
3. Choose the Create Schedule button.
4. Input a Schedule Name.
5. Select the Start Time.
6. Select the Interval. This will change how often the message appears.
7. Toggle on the Only When Server Is Online button.
8. Press the Create schedule button.
9. Select the newly created schedule.
10. Choose the New Task button.
11. Ensure the Action dropdown menu is set to Send Command.
12. From the Payload section, input the following: /say <MessageHere>.
13. Choose the Create Task button.
14. The server message will now display in the chat box for all players at the selected interval.
15. Alternatively, use /notify <MessageHere> in the payload section.
16. Notify will show a pop-up notification on the right-side of all player's screens.
