Hytale servers can restrict access by adding a server password. By adding a password, users can ensure that no random users will join their servers. Making a server private with a password is a great way to play through Hytale with a small group of friends and helps cultivate a more personal experience.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Open the Config Files dropdown menu and select Server Config.
4. Navigate to the "Password": line.
5. Input a Secure Password between the quotation marks (").
6. Start the server.
7. Users will be prompted for the password when joining.
