Changing the game mode on a Hytale server is essential because it fundamentally alters the rules and focus of the experience, transforming it from a survival challenge to a creative building canvas or a structured minigame. Different modes allow players to collaborate on specific projects or activities that wouldn't be possible otherwise, such as toggling to Creative Mode for massive structure creation or enabling an Adventure Mode instance for a focused story quests. This ability to switch ensures the server remains dynamic and engaging for all players, catering to various play styles and preventing the experience from becoming repetitive.
Note: Currently, the only game modes available for early-access are Exploration (Labeled as 'Adventure' on servers) and Creative.
