Hytale has revealed many of the zones that will be available to players on release, with additional zones yet to be announced. Zones in Hytale are larger designations for areas throughout the game, and have multiple biomes within them. Throughout early access, players can look forward to new zones being released, as well as entirely different worlds for players to explore.
Note: Additional zones may be added over the course of early-access.

Emerald Grove
Serving as the ideal starting zone for new players, The Emerald Grove is a beautiful zone teeming with wildlife. Some of the animals that players can encounter here include grizzly bears, deer, and spiders. Additionally, the Emerald Grove is home to the Kweebecs and Trork NPC's. They have their own cultures and even variations, ensuring players can have plenty of interesting encounters within the zone.
Howling Sands
The Howling Sands is an alternative starting zone for players, featuring a dry and expansive landscape. In the Howling Sands, players can encounter enemies known as Skaraks roaming the dunes and underground caverns. Additionally, the Howling Sands features large Sand Temples throughout the zone for players to explore. The zone is also home to the peaceful Ferans and Meerkat NPC's.
Borea
The Borea zone features expansive snow-covered forests and mountains, creating breathtaking scenery and serving as the final starting zone option. Survival in Borea can be quite difficult compared to other zones, with dangerous creatures such as Elemental Golems, Outlanders, and even the fearsome Yeti roaming the landscape. The Borea is an extremely varied zone, with atleast four different biomes available for players to explore.
Devastated Lands
The Devastated Lands is a hellish, fire-scorched zone where lakes of lava and legions of skeletons can be found roaming the landscape. The Devastated Lands are intended to be explored by more advanced players, featuring Dinosaurs, Emberwulfs, and the Slothian race beneath the scorched landscape. However, with the increased danger comes greater rewards, ancient ruins with powerful items litter the landscape, providing a worthwhile challenge for prepared players.
