Valheim servers can modify various portal settings to customize how players interact and travel around the world. By adjusting modifiers, users can choose what items can be teleported, restrict where portals can be placed, or disable them entirely. With portals disabled, players will have to be very well prepared when exploring distant biomes, as death could result in lengthy travel times.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Settings tab and choose Valheim Server Options.
4. Adjust the Portals Modifier as desired.

| NoBossPortals | If enabled, portals cannot be used near bosses. |
| Disable all Portals | If enabled, portals cannot be used. |

6. Start the server.
