Disabling Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) on a Night of the Dead server allows host administrators to install and run custom server-side mods or plugins that anti-cheat software normally restricts. It also permits players using custom client modifications to connect without encountering security flag rejections. However, turning off the protection removes automated cheat detection, requiring administrators to rely entirely on manual moderation or server passwords to protect gameplay integrity.
Note: Players with EAC disabled cannot connect to a server with EAC enabled.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Settings tab and choose Startup.
4. From the Disable Easy Anti-Cheat table, toggle on the setting.
5. Start the server.
