In the World Tree biome in Palworld, unprotected resource nodes like Paloxite Ore and Mythical Wood vanish instantly when a player approaches them. This fading mechanism acts as an environmental progression lock, preventing players from simply looting high-tier endgame materials without preparation. To stop nodes from disappearing, players must either drink World Tree Holy Water or bring a World Tree Pal whose passive ability neutralizes the effect.

World Tree Holy Water

An NPC, upon entering the World Tree, will give the player 10 Holy Water once to begin with. Learn more about where to find World Tree Holy Water here.

1. Open the Inventory menu.

2. Right-click the Holy Water.

3. Choose the player and/or pals to drink holy water.

Note: Active pals without the Holy Water effect will destroy Paloxite and Mythical Wood. Hide such pals before approaching any World Tree resources.

4. The Holy Water effect will display an aura and last for 30 seconds. Learn how to disable the visual effect here.

World Tree Passives

Active pals with a World Tree Passive allow the pal and player to gather World Tree resources.

Incubating Ominous Eggs

1. Find an Ominous Egg at the World Tree.

Ominous Eggs will display an aura.

Note: Mark any egg spawns on the map and come back to them later to check for Ominous Eggs.

2. Pick up the Ominous Egg.

3. Place the egg in an Incubator.

4. Once finished, collect the egg.

5. The hatched pal will always have a World Tree Passive.

Catching a Pal with Aura at the World Tree

Wild Pals that are not commonly seen at the World Tree are usually pals with a World Tree passive.

Capturing the wild pal with an aura will prove to be useful for gathering World Tree resources safely.

Finding a Paloxite Ore Veins

Players can find Paloxite scattered around the World Tree biome. However, there are specific spots with multiple ore veins.
