However, these Grandmaster fishing spots are notoriously difficult, featuring erratic target movements that demand top-tier rods, specialized bait, and a fully stacked fishing Pal team to manage. Despite the extreme challenge, mastering these intense fishing spots allows players to secure elite gear without relying solely on high-risk combat encounters.
The World Tree has Grandmaster Fishing Spots scattered around the water. Without the proper gear and pals, it is nearly impossible to catch the rarest fish.
Equipment
Advanced Fishing Rod (Pengullet)
Unlocked at Technology level 45. Improves the fishing rod's durability and increases the capture bar's length during the fishing minigame.

Paldium Fragment- Found near bodies of water, dungeons, or crafted at the Crusher. -
High Quality Pal Oil- Found from pals or ranched by a Dumud. -
Pal Metal Ingot- Produced from a furnace using Paldium Fragments, Ore, and Pure Quartz. -
Carbon Fiber- Crafted at a workbench using Charcoal/Coal and Flame Organs.
Alluring Bait
Unlocked at Technology level 52. Increases the length of the capture bar during the fishing minigame and increases the items obtained when successful.

Pals can be condensed with the Pal Essence Condenser at Ancient Technology Level 14.
Players can skip catching 48 of the same pals by using Starfruits. Starfruits are obtained as a rare item or bought from the Medal Merchant at Desolate Churches.
