Ancient Civilization Cores are a key material for Palworld progression, as players will need large amounts for workstation advancements, accessories, pal gear, and weapons. In addition, ancient cores are also used to create AI Cores, a key material for nearly every endgame recipe. By acquiring large amounts, players can use the newest pals, ride them into battle, and use the best gear available. Ancient cores are very slow to earn in the early game, so it is recommended to send expeditions regularly after clearing the level 50 research tower.
1. Ancient Civilization Cores are a key resource used for Late Game Weapons, Accessories, and Workstations.
2. The primary method to acquire cores in the early game is through the Pal Expedition Station (Tech Tier 22).
3. To obtain cores as expedition rewards, players must first clear the Pal Genetic Research Tower.
4. Send a team to the Astral Frost Cavern. This is the first expedition tier with Ancient Cores as a reward.
5. Alternatively, players can clear Raid Bosses to obtain cores. Raid bosses are fought by creating Boss Slabs.
6. Boss slabs can only be crafted using Fragments, which are a reward from Dungeon Chests and Expeditions.
7. The raid boss can then be attempted from a Summoning Altar, fighting them in an external arena or the player's base.
Note: Only Guild Members can assist with raid bosses. Non-guild members can participate if fought in the open world, but they will not receive rewards.
8. Acquiring ancient cores in the Late Game becomes much easier by using the Ancient Relic Recycler (Tech Tier 74).
9. The Ancient Relic Recycler requires 50 Paloxite Ingots, 50 Mythical Wood, 30 Ancient Civilization Parts, and 20 Ancient Civilization Cores.
10. The Relic Recycler accepts Ancient Relics, which are obtained as drops from any monsters within the World Tree.
11. The relics will turn into World Tree Materials, Rare T4 Implants, and large amounts of Ancient Civilization Cores, in addition to other various items.
