Coralum is a resource in Palworld used for multiple accessories and weapons. Coralum is a resource that cannot be automated and must be obtained by salvaging from ocean sites. The resource can also be acquired by killing Whalaska, however, the additional resources from salvaging make it very valuable, providing schematics, pal spheres, and more. Coralum is also a key resource for progression, as it is used to create the advanced workshop and weapon assembly lines.
1. Unlock the Coralum Ingot schematic from Tech Tier 62.
2. Coralum Ingots require a Gigantic Furnace (Tech Tier 58) to smelt. The furnace requires 150 Plasteel, 100 Polymer, 200 Flame Organs, and 12 Computers.
3. The ingots require 2 Coralum Ore, and 5 Coal to smelt per bar.
4. To acquire Coralum Ore, players must acquire a Fishing Rod and Powerful Fishing Magnets (Tier 62).
5. Powerful Fishing Magnets are created from the Production Assembly Line II in batches of ten. They require Hexolite, Cryogenic Coolant, and a Bio Battery.
6. A Surfing Pal is also required, which can be any pal that allows players to travel on water.
7. With the Fishing Rod equipped and Powerful Magnets in inventory, locate a Salvaging Spot. These spots are located in the ocean.
8. Hold F and complete the Minigame to acquire the resources.
9. Coralum Ore is also a possible drop from the Whalaska or Whalaska Ignis pals.
10. Whalaska is occasionally found on the Isle of the Glacial Core.
11. Return to the Gigantic Furnace to smelt the ore into Coralum Ingots.
