Palworld progression tasks players with acquiring multiple types of ores and materials in order to advance through the technology tiers. Typically, materials from previous tiers are required to advance, forcing players to establish long-term solutions for various resources and to create multiple bases to meet their resource needs. Hexolite is a resource that naturally spawns in the Feybreak region. To make Hexolite bars, Chromite is also required, and it has a slightly different gathering process than earlier ores.
1. Hexolite is a material acquired from the Feybreak region and is unlocked at Tech Tier 58.
2. Hexolite requires a Gigantic Furnace (Tech Tier 58) to smelt. The furnace requires 150 Plasteel, 100 Polymer, 200 Flame Organs, and 12 Computers.
3. The recipe for Hexolite is 1 Chromite and 1 Hexolite Quartz per bar.
4. Hexolite Quartz is acquired from the Multicolored Crystals found on Feybreak.
5. Additionally, a Hexolite Quartz Mine can be obtained using Ancient Technology Points (Tech Tier 62).
6. Chromite requires specific tools to locate, primarily the Metal Detector (Tech Tier 58).
7. The Metal Detector requires 30 Plasteel, 100 Paldium Fragment, 15 Computers, and 20 Nightstar Sand.
8. Nightstar Sand can be acquired from Glowing Spots on Feybreak beaches.
9. Alternatively, the Smokie Pal can be used to detect chromite and increase the amount of chromite obtained.
10. With a Metal Detector or Smokie equipped, enter any Feybreak Dungeon.
10. Pull out the Metal Detector to begin scanning for chromite.
11. The detector will pulse rapidly the closer the player gets to a chromite deposit, and will appear next to the player when close enough.
12. Smelt the ore together at a Gigantic Furnace to acquire Hexolite bars.
