Soulmask servers can change the active day length to modify how long nights and days last. By default, when the in-game clock reaches night, time passes faster. This can vary depending on server difficulty, with master difficulty resulting in the same speed at night and during the day. In addition, the time flow can be adjusted from the default real-time progression, allowing more in-game time to pass and making player schedules much more flexible.
How to Change the Day Length on a Soulmask Server (Panel)
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Open the Config Files dropdown menu and select Server Settings.
4. Modify the Daytime Proportion setting to change how quickly night progresses. When set to 0.5, night will have the same duration as day; values above this will shorten night's duration.
5. Change the Time Flow Multiplier to set how many in-game hours pass per real-world hour. This setting takes into account the Daytime Proportion.
Note: For example, to have fully real-time progression, proportion of daytime should be set at
0.5and time flow multiplier should be24.
