Soulmask servers can adjust the hunger and thirst rates to determine how often players need to eat and drink. This can create a much more forgiving environment, more in line with lower levels of difficulty. Alternatively, hunger and thirst rates can be increased, forcing players to find solutions for food and water and creating tense situations around resource locations. These settings can be modified at any time while the server is running, allowing server admins to be flexible and change them as needed.
1. Join the server.
2. Log in as admin. Learn how to here.
3. Select Open coefficient settings.
4. Go to the Consumption tab.
Note: The following settings are Multipliers, meaning a setting of
0would disable them while0.5would result in half the normal rate.
5. Modify the Satiety and Hydration Consumption Speed Multipliers as desired.
6. Adjust the Time Multiplier required for items to decay to change how long food items last before rotting.
