Safehouses on a Project Zomboid server provide survivors with a designated zone for secure storage and shelter from the undead. These zones trigger a protection system that prevents uninvited players from entering the base or opening its windows. Inside the claim, all storage containers and supplies are locked to prevent theft.

How to Change the Safehouse Settings on a Project Zomboid Server (Panel)
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Find the following directory: /home/container/.cache/Server
5. Open [SaveName].ini for editing. The .ini file is labeled depending on the Save/Config Name in the Settings tab.
6. On the PlayerSafehouse= line, change the value to true.
7. Change any additional safehouse options. See the list below for available settings.

9. Start the server.

2. Click the Admin icon.
3. Select See Server Options.
4. In the Filters bar, enter safehouse.
5. Hover over PlayerSafehouse and click Change.
6. Choose true from the dropdown and hit Save.
7. Adjust any additional safehouse options. See the list below for available settings.
