Changing the game speed on a Hytale server allows administrators to control the flow of time-based mechanics, such as accelerating the growth of crops and trees or extending the duration of the day-night cycle. This setting is frequently used by builders and content creators to manipulate the speed of environmental animations, such as clouds and foliage, to achieve specific cinematic effects for recordings. Additionally, adjusting the simulation speed is a valuable tool for server testing, enabling admins to quickly observe how complex scripted events or custom mob behaviors unfold over extended periods in a condensed timeframe.
