Hytale server saves can be freely transferred between servers. This allows players to continue their server worlds offline or upload them onto a server to enjoy the benefits of a dedicated server. Downloading a world is also a valuable and secure way to keep backups, ensuring that no data is lost when making significant configuration changes or adding mods.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Select the mods, universe, and .json files.
5. Choose Download.
6. Open the Hytale Launcher.
7. Click the Settings icon.
8. Under Directory, choose Open directory.
9. Find the following directory: /Hytale/UserData/Saves
10. Create a new empty folder.
11. Enter any name for the folder and open it.
Note: The world's name will be replaced with the server's name after the transfer completes.
12. Move the downloaded server files from step 5 to the folder.
13. Extract the zipped files.
14. Launch Hytale.
15. Choose Worlds.
16. Select the transferred world and start playing.
