Joining a dedicated Cubic Odyssey server is the optimal way to experience its galactic, open-world adventure with a consistent group. Dedicated hosting provides a persistent world that is always online and doesn't rely on any single player being the host, ensuring collective progress and creations are always accessible. A server also grants complete control to customize the universe's rules, from enabling mods to setting game difficulty, for a tailored, lag-free multiplayer experience.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Start the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. Take note of the Server Name and Server Password.
5. From the Private Server dropdown, select Disabled.
Note: Public servers can only use passwords up to 6 characters long.
6. Launch Cubic Odyssey.
7. Choose Join Game.
8. Go to the Dedicated Servers tab.
9. Select the server name from step 4.
Click the Set Favorite button to find the server easily later.
10. If a password is set, enter the password from step 4 and choose Connect.
