Adding a password to the Cubic Odyssey server is essential for privacy and to control who joins the game session. It prevents unwanted random players, often called "griefers," from entering the world, stealing items, or destroying creations. This simple security measure ensures a safe, uninterrupted experience for players and selected friends.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. From the Server Password field, enter the desired password up to 6 characters only.
Note: Private servers can't have a password.
5. Start the server.
