DayZ servers have a larger maximum player cap than most other games. This can lead to fun scenarios where players often run into each other, making special events like the Valentine's Day Event more exciting and chaotic. The player cap for a server is often limited by the RAM available. In some cases, reducing the maximum number of players allowed on the server can increase performance and is a good option when troubleshooting.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. From the Max Players field, input the desired amount.
5. Start the server.
