Natural Selection 2 features intense battles between marines and aliens across various complex maps. Servers automatically load a default level upon startup, but this specific map may not always be the best choice for starting a match. Admins can start with a popular or smaller map to help attract players and populate the server quickly. A map cycle can be further configured to provide more control over the list of maps running on the server.

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Stop the server.

3. Go to the Startup tab.

4. On the Load Map field, change the map name.

5. Start the server.
