Project Zomboid servers can enable player-versus-player (PvP), allowing players to fight each other. There are numerous PvP settings available, including options to toggle PvP on or off, as well as controls over the damage inflicted on players. This can help create tense conflicts around various points of interest, creating a unique tension when compared to co-op servers. PvP can also be expanded through the wars feature, which allows agreed-upon conflicts and the takeover of safehouses.
