Users can download their Windrose server saves to keep the world safe for experimental modding, keep world backups, or to play locally. Downloading or uploading saves to a server can be done at any time, ensuring saves are kept safe. Downloading a world will also retain any faction reputations, as they are tied to the world and not the character, allowing players to continue important progression mechanics.
