Windrose servers support UE4SS, a popular tool that enables mod support and enhanced server functionality. UE4SS supports Lua mods, increasing the variety of mods on the server. In addition, Pak mods can be installed on servers, providing larger backpacks, higher stack sizes, and a wide range of other quality-of-life changes. Most Windrose mods do not require Lua support, so make sure to check mod descriptions before installing UE4SS.

How to Install UE4SS on a Windrose Server

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Stop the server.

3. Go to the Startup tab.

4. Set UE4SS Support to Enabled.

5. Start the server.

How to Install UE4SS on Windrose Locally

1. Download the latest version of UE4SS here.

Note: Read the description for installing the latest version over older versions of UE4SS.

2. From the Steam library, right-click Windrose, hover Manage, and choose Browse local files.

3. Unzip the downloaded file from step 1 into the directory.

4. Launch Windrose.
