In the pirate survival game Windrose, fast travel becomes available during the tutorial quest once players learn to smelt copper. To initiate this system, characters must acquire a Fast Travel Bell by either crafting it with copper ingots and ropes or discovering it in hidden caches and shipwrecks. This bell is then combined with wood to construct a physical Fast Travel Point, which must always be placed on a coastline or near the water.
1. Discover Copper Ingots by advancing through the tutorial.
2. The Fast Travel Bell schematic will be unlocked.
3. Gather 20 Copper Ingots and 6 Ropes.
Copper Ingots are made in the Smelting Furnace using 4 Copper Ore and 1 Charcoal.
Rope is crafted in the Workbench using 3 Plant Fibers.
4. Go to the Workbench.
5. Craft 2 Fast Travel Bells.
6. Press Take all.
7. Acquire 40 Wood.
8. Press B to enter Building Mode.
9. Right-click to open the Building Panel.
10. Under Utilities, select the Fast Travel Point.
11. Build the first Fast Travel Point at the desired location.
12. Build the second Fast Travel Point at the desired location.
13. Fast Travel will now be available between the points.
14. When exploring on foot, players must physically interact with the Fast Travel Point.
15. While sailing a ship, players can access all Fast Travel Points directly through the world map.
Note: There can only be 10 active Fast Travel Points at once.
