How to Set Up a Reverse Proxy for a Minecraft Server (Free Subdomain)
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Go to the Network tab.
3. Under Subdomain, click Edit.
Note: If a subdomain has already been created, skip to step 6.
4. Save a subdomain name and domain.
5. Click Confirm.
6. From the IP Address table, take note of a port not in use.
7. Under Configure Reverse Proxy, enter the subdomain from step 5.
8. In the Port field, input a port from step 6. Some plugins may use a different port.
9. Press the Create button.
How to Set Up a Reverse Proxy for a Minecraft Server (Custom Domain SRV Record)
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Take note of the IP Address.
3. Log in to the BisectHosting Billing panel.
4. Select Domains, then My Domains. Learn how to purchase a custom domain here.
5. Select a domain to use for the A Record.
6. Under Hosting Information, click DNS Management.
7. Click Add A New A Record.
8. Specify the hostname prefix.
9. Add the IP address from step 2 without the Port.
10. Input 14400 for the TTL. Any other values can be used if knowledgeable about TTL.
9. Click Add Record.
10. Under the DNS Management panel, select Manage SRV Records.
11. Click Add A New SRV Record.
12. For just the base domain to point to the server, enter the following information to connect to the server:

Service Record - Enter
_minecraft._tcp - Full Target Name - Enter the full Hostname from step 8.

TTL - Use
14400. Other values can be used if the user knows exactly what this is, and how to use it. -
Priority - Use
0. Other values can be used if the user knows exactly what this is, and how to use it. -
Weight - Use
5. Other values can be used if the user knows exactly what this is, and how to use it. - Port - The Minecraft server port without the IP

14. Click Add Record. DNS will start to update and may take a while.
15. Take note of the SRV Record domain.
16. Return to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
17. Go to the Network tab.
18. From the IP Address table, take note of a port not in use.
19. Under Configure Reverse Proxy, enter the custom domain from step 15.
20. In the Port field, input a port from step 18. Some plugins may use a different port.
21. Press the Create button.
