Customizing the welcome message and message of the day helps establish a SCUM server's unique identity right as prisoners awake on the island. These daily broadcasts provide an excellent opportunity to outline community rules, share links to communication channels, or announce upcoming server-wide events. A well-crafted greeting sets the tone for the environment, letting survivors know whether they have joined a friendly role-playing community or a ruthless combat zone.
