Implementing a whitelist transforms an open, public SCUM server into an exclusive, invite-only survival experience. This strict access control ensures that only approved, vetted prisoners can parachute into the game world. Keeping random strangers out drastically reduces the likelihood of griefing, cheating, and unwanted toxicity. Securing the server with an approved roster allows players to invest deeply in long-term gameplay without fear of random disruption.
