Hytale servers can be set to the pre-release branch for Hytale, allowing players to test out upcoming features and new content not yet pushed to the stable branch. This will enable users to explore these new features and plan content around their release. With each update to the pre-release branch, players may be able to use new items and weapons, explore new zones and biomes, and more.

How to Install the Pre-Release Branch on a Hytale Server

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Stop the server.

3. Go to the Startup tab.

4. From the Install Branch dropdown, select Pre-release Branch.

5. Start the server.

How to Install the Pre-Release Branch for Hytale (Local)

1. Open the Hytale Launcher.

2. Click the Settings icon.

3. Open the Patchline dropdown menu and select pre-release. 

4. Close the settings window and choose Install.
