Hytale servers allow users to transfer their existing local saves to and from them, including worlds and player progress. Exclusively uploading player data is a great way to retain character progress without migrating the world, allowing players to have a better start and keep any weapons or armor they may have for exploring an entirely new world.
Note: This guide will only cover uploading player data to a server. Learn how to upload a world here.
1. Launch Hytale.
2. Open the Worlds menu.
3. Right-click the desired world.
4. Choose Open Folder.
5. Open the universe folder.
6. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
Note: The server must be started once to generate the required folders for uploading.
7. Stop the server.
8. Go to the Files tab.
9. Open the universe folder.
10. Upload the players folder and the memories.json files.
11. Start the server.
