Spark Profiler allows server owners to create diagnostics for their server, helping them identify TPS or general lag issues. Installing and running a Spark report can be essential for server health, especially after setting up teleporters, or when running a large server with spread out players.
How to Install Spark on a Hytale Server
1. Download Spark.
2. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
3. Stop the server.
4. Go to the Files tab.
5. Open the mods folder.
6. Drag and drop the .jar file from step 1.
7. Start the server.
How to Run a Spark Profiler on a Hytale Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Start the server.
3. Go to the Console tab.
4. Enter the following command: /spark profiler start.
Note: To reset the profiler, run the following commands in succession:
/spark profiler cancel/spark profiler start
5. Input the following command to view the profiler while it runs: /spark profiler open
6. Click the generated link to open the Spark Profiler results.
7. Input the following command in chat to stop the profiler: /spark profiler stop
