Hytale servers allow players to install popular plugins and mods, such as Spark Profiler, that have been transitioned from Minecraft. Spark Profiler enables server owners to create diagnostics for their server, helping them identify TPS or general lag issues. Installing and running a Spark report can be essential for server health, especially after setting up teleporters or when running a large server with players spread out.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Mods tab.
4. In the Search field, enter spark.
5. Press Install.
6. Start the server.
How to Run a Spark Profiler on a Hytale Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Start the server.
3. Go to the Console tab.
4. Run the following command to start the profiler: /spark profiler start
Note: To reset the profiler, run the following commands in succession:
/spark profiler cancel/spark profiler start
5. Input the following command to view the profiler while it runs: /spark profiler open
6. Click the generated link to open the results.
7. Input the following command in chat to stop the profiler: /spark profiler stop
