Modifying the world seed is a great way to share world-generation layouts on a Hytale server. Entering a new value for a specific world refreshes its generation, applies the latest value, and requires minimal configuration. Using an existing world seed is a great way to quickly find the locations of rare resources, impressive landscapes, or high-level ruins.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Find the following directory: /home/container/universe/worlds
5. Open the current world folder, typically named default.
6. Choose the config.json file.
7. Next to the "Seed" line, change the value to the desired world seed.
8. Press the Save button.
9. Select the chunks and resources folders if present.
10. Choose Delete.
11. Start the server.
