ASKA servers utilize the powerful Thunderstore modding tool and BepInEx to allow users to install both local and server-side mods. By adding mods to a server, users can enjoy the increased variety and quality of life that mods have to offer. With mods such as increased building storage, auto-ignite, or max perks, users can enjoy a more relaxing experience, all while benefiting from a dedicated server.

Note: Some mods are installed only locally; check the mod description to determine whether server installation is necessary.

How to Install and Run BepInEx Locally

1. Download the Mod Manager here.

2. From the Mod Manager, search for ASKA and choose Select game. 

3. Open the Get mods tab.

4. Select the pinned mod BepInEx.

5. Press the Download button.

6. Choose Start Modded to run ASKA with BepInEx.

How to Install BepInEx on an ASKA Server

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Stop the server.

3. Go to the Startup tab.

4. From the Enable BepInEx dropdown, select Enabled.

5. Start the server.

How to Install Mods and Plugins on an ASKA Server

1. From the Thunderstore app, choose any mod and press Website.

2. Select Manual Download.

3. Extract the files into an empty folder.

4. Open the extracted folder.

5. Navigate to the /BepInEx/Plugins directory.

6. Open the mod folder.

7. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

7. Stop the server.

8. Go to the Files tab.

9. Find the following directory: /home/container/BepInEx/plugins

10. Upload the .dll files from step 6.

11. Start the server.
