Changing the maximum player limit on a Euro Truck Simulator 2 server allows more players to join a single session than the default of 8. This modification can foster larger virtual trucking communities and enable more dynamic and engaging multiplayer experiences with more participants. However, increasing the player count may impact server performance and require individual players to adjust their local game settings to see and join these larger servers.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. On the Max Players field, enter the desired max from 2-128.
Note: Servers with more than 8 max players are not shown on the browser by default. Learn how to find servers with more than 8 players here.
5. Start the server.
