A Minehut External Server enables users to connect multiple Minecraft servers to create complex networks and gameplay experiences. With this feature, players can seamlessly navigate different server worlds or game modes while maintaining a unified experience. This is particularly valuable for server administrators looking to establish interconnected game modes or provide their community with various experiences. Whether running multiple minigames, survival, creative, or other Minecraft modes, Minehut External Server enables the connection and management of these servers under a single network.
Requirement: Paper must be installed on the server. Learn how to here.
The Minehut server must have an External Server plan.
Note: A Minehut external server plan is a paid service.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Click the config folder.
5. Open paper-global.yml for editing.
6. On the proxy-protocol: line, change the value to true.
7. Press the Save button.
8. Select the Config Files tab and choose Server Properties.
9. From the Enforce Secure Profile dropdown, choose False.
10. Go to the Startup tab.
11. On the [Advanced] Custom JVM Arguments - Start table, enter the following command:
-Dminecraft.api.auth.host=https://authserver.mojang.com/ -Dminecraft.api.account.host=https://api.mojang.com/ -Dminecraft.api.services.host=https://api.minecraftservices.com/ -Dminecraft.api.session.host=https://api.minehut.com/mitm/proxy12. Start the server.
13. Copy the IP Address.
14. Log in to Minehut.
15. Select Manage Server.
16. Under External Server Settings, fill in the fields and hit Update.
- IP - Paste the IP from step 11.
- Proxy Type - Other
- DNS Record Type - Port
- Port - Paste the port from step 11.
