Conan Exiles has a highly variable difficulty level and offers three difficulty presets. Generally speaking, the presets will make the game harder or more forgiving by automatically adjusting the available sliders for player/NPC damage and other settings, such as durability. This means that players can essentially craft custom difficulties by manually adjusting the available sliders.
1. Join the server as admin. Learn how to here.
2. From the Esc menu, open Settings.
3. Choose Server Settings.
4. Go to the General menu.
5. Select the desired difficulty and choose OK.
6. Click Yes to confirm the change. Changing the difficulty will reset the admin password.
