Barotrauma features many ways to play including the popular 'campaign' mode. This mode tasks players with a sprawling adventure across long distances, giving them escalating missions and forcing them to manage their resources wisely. Like other gamemodes, campaigns can be adjusted to any difficulty, ensuring the difficulty is fine-tuned to the server's desired play style.
Note: Campaigns can only be managed by server admins or players with certain permissions.
1. Join the server as an admin. Learn how to admin here.
2. Ensure Campaign is the selected game mode.
3. From the New Campaign tab, input a Save Name.
4. Adjust the settings as desired or choose a Preset.
5. Select a Submarine to start with. This will affect available funds.
6. Adjust any desired game mode or respawn settings.
7. Ensure all connected players have their Job Preferences set.
8. When ready to begin, press the Start button.
