Barotrauma has three separate gamemodes, each offering unique and exciting gameplay. By default, servers begin in sandbox mode, which lets players carve their own paths and take missions as they go, tailoring their adventures. Compared to the 'Mission' and 'Campaign' gamemodes, servers provide a more structured, guided experience. These missions can be pretty challenging, so ensure players pick the required classes to maintain even the largest submarines properly.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. From the Server Gamemode dropdown, select the desired mode.
5. Start the server.
