ASKA has numerous world generation options and settings only available in 'custom mode.' Users can customize their servers by enabling custom mode with settings such as day length, monster density, and more. Custom mode is typically set when creating the world, requiring users to start a new save or upload a save to the server. Custom mode is key to personalizing an ASKA server and making it stand out.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Config Files tab and choose Server Config.
4. From the save id = line, delete the text value to make a new save.
Note: Custom mode can only be enabled on new saves.
5. Next to the mode = line, change the value to custom.

6. Press the Save button.
7. Start the server.
