Electric components are crucial in Foundry and are required to build more advanced production. While their creation can eventually be automated, players have to craft the material by using nearby ore nodes and the smelter on the back of the drop pod. Electric components are just one step in Foundry's in-depth progression, eventually requiring players to combine electric components with other materials to create even more advanced machines. Hence, acquiring these components quickly is essential.
1. Open the Crafting menu by pressing C, then go to the Components section.
2. Electronic components require Technum Rods and Wire Coil to craft.
3. Use the smelter at the back of the Drop Pod to create Technum Rods.
4. Each rod requires Technum Ore Rubble to craft.
5. After acquiring enough rods, select Electric Component from the crafting menu. The Wire Coils will be created automatically using technum rods.
