VEIN servers can change the maximum amount of characters that a player is allowed to create on a server. This allows server owners to control the amount of characters on the server, and can pair well with other settings such as permadeath. By utilizing multiple character slots, players will be able to explore different occupations, or starting locations, and explore new parts of the world that would normally require a lengthy amount of traveling.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Settings tab and choose Console Variables.
4. From the Max Characters per Player section, set the desired number of characters.
5. Start the server.
