VEIN typically challenges players to find alternative sources for electricity and water after a set amount of time. By default, water shuts off on day thirty, while electricity stops on day forty-six. VEIN server owners can adjust these times to a custom amount, either providing more or less time before the cut off point. Users should also keep in mind the day length set on the server, as faster days can result in losing power very quickly.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Settings tab and choose Console Variables.
4. Set the desired Electrical and Water Shutoff Times. The values are measured in Days.
5. Start the server.
