Adjusting the difficulty setting on an ICARUS server allows administrators to tailor the overall survival challenge, enemy health, and damage scaling to suit their community's playstyle. Lowering the difficulty creates a more relaxed, accessible environment ideal for casual players or newcomers who want to focus on building and exploration. Conversely, raising the difficulty increases environmental hazards and creature hostility, providing an intense experience that rewards strategic teamwork and advanced survival tactics.
