Adjusting the maximum ping limit on a WARDOGS server prevents players with high latency from joining, ensuring a smoother and more responsive gameplay experience for everyone. Lowering the limit reduces desync, rubberbanding, and unfair hit-registration issues during fast-paced combat encounters. Conversely, raising or tuning the ping limit allows server owners to accommodate a broader, geographically diverse player base without prematurely disconnecting legitimate players on slower connections.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Settings tab and choose Server Settings.
4. Navigate to the [/Script/HighPingKickRuntime.WDHighPingKickSettings] line.
5. Edit the desired settings.
