Accessing the Rcon panel on a WARDOGS server provides direct administrative control over live multiplayer matches and oversight of the active player community. Additionally, it enables real-time adjustments such as rotating maps or broadcasting global announcements to keep the overall gameplay experience engaging and well-coordinated.

Note: RCON functionality may not always work as intended due to server loads.

How to Access the WARDOGS RCON Panel

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Stop the server.

3. Select the Settings tab and choose Startup.

4. From the RCON Accessibility dropdown, choose Remote Access.

5. Go to the Home tab.

6. Start the server. Wait for a complete start.

Note: If the RCON panel is still inaccessible, try letting the server fully stop and start again after the initial setup. If issues continue, try using RCON commands instead.

7. Under Manage your Server, choose Open WARDOGS RCON Panel.

The server will automatically log in to the RCON panel.

How to Connect Another Server to the WARDOGS RCON Panel

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Stop the server.

3. Take note of the Server IP.

4. Select the Settings tab and choose Startup.

5. From the RCON Accessibility dropdown, choose Remote Access.

6. Take note of the RCON Password.

7. Start the server.

8. Select the Settings tab and choose Server Settings.

9. Toggle on the File View.

10. Under the [/Script/WDRCON.WDRCONSettings] line, take note of the Port. The RCON Password can be changed from the Startup tab.

11. Go to the WARDOGS RCON Panel.

12. Under WARDOGS RCON, choose Add Server.

13. Input the IP from step 3, the password from step 6, and the port from step 10. Ensure the IP field does not have a port.

14. Press the Connect button.
