Setting a password on an Alchemy Factory server is a great way to protect it from random players and allow only known users to join and play. This eliminates the need for extensive server moderation, avoiding the need to kick or ban problematic players and allowing users to progress with their group of friends. Passwords should be secure to prevent users from guessing and causing trouble on the server.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Settings tab and choose Startup.
4. In the Server Password field, enter a Secure Password.
5. Start the server.
