Administrators on a WARDOGS server can use the whisper function to privately communicate with players about rule violations. Sending warnings through public chat often derails the ongoing match. A private channel provides space to investigate server incidents and to maintain overall match quality and player focus.

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Start the server.

3. Go to the Console tab.

4. Run the following command to view the player list: playerlist

5. Run the following command to whisper to a player: msg <SteamID64> <message>

6. The whisper will be sent to the player on the server.

How to Whisper to a Player on a WARDOGS Server (RCON)

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Under Manage your Server, choose Open WARDOGS RCON Panel.

3. Go to the Player Administration tab.

4. Select a player.

5. Enter a message and hit MSG.

6. A confirmation will appear below.
