Disabling the pause-when-empty feature on an Alchemy Factory allows automated factories and extractors to continuously process and stockpile resources even when no players are actively logged in. This is highly beneficial for late-game progression that requires large quantities of slow-crafting materials, allowing players to return to fully loaded storage containers. However, it also forces players to ensure power grids and defense systems are entirely self-sustaining, adding a rewarding layer of strategic planning to factory designs.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Settings tab and choose Server Settings.
4. Next to the pause_when_empty= line, change the value to 0.
5. Press the Save button.
6. Start the server.
