Palworld has many user-created mods that can drastically alter gameplay systems, visuals, and more. Mods can come from multiple sources, including Steam Workshop, Nexus Mods, or GitHub. Mods acquired from the Workshop have the added benefit of automatic updates, ensuring their functionality across different game versions. Mods can be combined from different sources by installing them in the proper locations, allowing a greater variety for mods that may be unavailable on other platforms.
Note: This guide covers installing Steam Workshop mods locally. To install them onto a server, use a Steam Workshop Collection by following our guide here.
1. From the Steam Library, choose Palworld.
2. Go to the Workshop tab.
3. Select the desired mod.
4. Press Subscribe.
5. Launch Palworld.
6. Open the Options menu.
7. Select Mod Management.
8. Click the Checkbox next to the installed mods.
9. Press Save.
10. Choose Yes to confirm the changes and restart the game.
