Frontier Legends servers are open to random users by default, and can be secured with a password to allow private, friends-only playthroughs. Adding a server password restricts users' ability to join and can allow players to safely continue local progress when uploading their saves. A server password can be added, changed, or removed at any time, allowing users to open their servers to the public later or modify their passwords if they are leaked.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Open the Settings dropdown menu and choose Startup.
4. From the Server Password section, enter a Secure Password.
5. Set the Connection Type to Private.
6. Start the server.
