The latest experimental update on 7 Days to Die introduces separate settings for wildlife and enemies, allowing server hosts to increase animal populations without adding more zombies. Administrators can set different spawn rates by time of day, creating environments with abundant daytime hunting and scarce nighttime resources. Modifying this balance alters the baseline difficulty of wilderness survival for everyone on the map.
